Scrappity-Doo-Dah --- Update

As many of you have already figured out, Scrappity-Doo-Dah, along with many other digi-scrapping sites is down. Apparently, the web server host discovered a breech in their security and took all their servers off-line to repair the situation.

Can you believe it is March already?! I certainly cannot. The year has been roaring by so fast. It has been filled with excitement and all kinds of crazy, but good, changes.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, NDISB is experiencing technical difficulties. It is very unfortunate for everyone involved. I truly LOVE the community there. I am anxious for all the bugs to be ironed out and the new, improved site design to be completed.

Since I did not want you to think I was a total flake, I am offering you Day 7 here on my blog.

Well, here is the final part of Fallin'. I am super excited to see that so many of you like it. It tickles my heart to know that my designs are helping you turn your moments into memories.

Wahoo! I am staying busy. Between doing all the mommy and wife things my family requires, starting a "real" job, and creating new goodies for GET Designs, I am physically and mentally spent. New Kit --- Sweet Dreamer

Yes, I must admit, I got really sidetracked over the last several weeks. Resulting in very little new design work from me. But I do have a freshly re-done basement den. My mom and I did it "design on a dime" style. We used her dime!! And the kids helped with the painting and putting together some of the furniture pieces.

So, to get my designer motor running again, I finally revamped one of my first kits, Starry Dreams. And I just love the results. Most of the papers are brand new and a few new elements, but everything that got carried over from the other kit got a fresh coat of design time.

Whoa! It's been a crazy kind of October. I have been busy doing tons of things, but very little designing. I hope to remedy that soon. I have been working feverishly to finish up a new collab kit. And have been working on a redo of one of my old favorites, Starry Dreams. (It is looking so darling, I can hardly wait to show you.) I hope to have at least two new kits in stores for you by the first of November.

With three wonderful boys at home, I rarely get do do anything "girlie." So, I designed this, my newest kit, Bethany. This kit is so dear to my heart. I created it to celebrate the love I still hold in my heart for my daughter Bethany. She was only with us 6 short hours, but I will always hold those moments deep within my heart. God has been faithful and strong for me and His perfect peace is my comfort. --- And what a blessing to have the boundless energy of three delightful boys running through my home and my heart.

I love the rich purples and rose colors of this kit. And the greens are a great accent to tie them together.

New kit: Play Park plus QP freebie

I am loving this new kit. It is bold, bright, and fun. It was inspired by those wonderful play dates, when moms and kids come together, and everyone plays together well. Sure the play together part usually only lasts a few minutes, but you just give them a hug and send them back to the play ground. (Or as my boys have always called it, the play park.)

Sorry I've been so quiet lately. I got sucked into the world of Farm Town, lol. I finally made it back to reality and have found out all that "farming" has turned my brain to mush. OH NO!! ---- It just came to my attention that I missed a very small blob of stray pixels when I was cleaning up my ribbon. I have fixed it and replaced it in the store. Sorry it has been so long. I have been busy entertaining my three boys. And having to share my computer with them. They love PBS kids. And I know it is safe for them. But I must admit the selfishness tries to rise up within me and not let them have their turn. But then, usually Matthew, reminds me, "God wants us to share." So, what's a girl to do.

A wedding, a birthday, a mouse, sand and a secret!

Wahoo! Sweet vacation come to me. I have been so crazy designing new kits, designing wedding paraphernalia, and least we forget, raising 3 boys and tending to the needs of a great husband. I cannot wait for vacation to start.

My brother is finally getting married on the 23rd and I have been trying to work with them to design the program for the ceremony. (And this is the reason I am digi-scrapbooking designer, and not a graphic designer. I can design what I like and not worry about pleasing the "client.") I am working on finalizing the revisions they asked for and hope everything looks as they envisioned. All my boys are in the wedding, making certain that cuteness (and probably just a little silliness, ha) is included in the ceremony.

My dear hubby is having a birthday tomorrow. The kids and I have been trying to shower him with gifts and love. He deserves so much more than we can do for him.

Oh, did I mention the wedding is in Orlando, woot-woo! So we are off to "Mickey's castle" as my children call it. And it coinsides with the kick-off of Star Wars weekends. We will all be in Disney heaven, LOL!

After all the wedding festivities we are headed to my mom's for a relaxing time at the beach. Ah, I hear the waves calling me even now.

And finally, my secret. Well, I can't share right now, but I have been accepted into another store as a designer. I am SUPER excited about this one and can't wait to tell you where. Watch for the post on the 23rd.

So, with all the craziness going on, I may have to drop out of the NDIDDS challenge. I have barely started on this weeks challenge kit. It is due Thursday. I may get it finished but I am not holding my breath. Don't worry though, when I do get it done, I will share a mini freebiee with you.

I hope you were able to make your way to the house of God today. It was a beautiful day here and the presence of God was so rich at Calvary this morning. I am forever grateful for the precious gift God gave me when He gave His only son to pay for the debt of my sin. Words fail me when I try to explain how deep and how wide and how great is the love of God. It is my heartfelt prayer for each of you that you walk in relationship with our precious Lord and King, Jesus!

Here I go! I am certain to be plumb batty by the end of this month! I still can't believe I am doing three different designer challenges this month. I don't know if I will be able to stick with them all the whole month; don't have a maid!!

I had great fun creating this colorful kit! It was by far one of my favorite to make so far. I hope you have as much fun with your layouts, as I have had putting it all together for you.

Unbaked Brownie Mix - week 1

I had so much fun and learned so much, I just had to join in the fun again. Round 4 of Brownie Scraps designer challenge started with our first assignment to create create 6 solid papers, and 4 patterned papers. We were given a few color palates to choose from. I choose one that was outside of my comfort zone. It was a real stretch for me to work with but I think you will like the results.
